Physician's Portal
HealthWare’s Physician Portal gives physicians access to an easy to use, secure website to digitally sign all your agency’s Patient Change Orders and Plan of Treatments, which are delivered to the physician automatically via email out of the HealthWare System. When you setup a physician to use the portal, HealthWare can issue the secure certificate, or the agency can use a third party certificate (i.e., Hospital, State, Federal, etc.) The physician then uses their certificate to digitally sign the documents.
With HealthWare’s Physician Portal, along with the actual orders, physicians will have access to critical patient information such as allergies, current diagnosis, and the patient’s electronic medical record items that are tagged as physician viewable. Physicians can also reject an order and communicate right at that time what they would prefer the order be changed to. Orders can be exported by the physician to a PDF, and the physician is able to print out the Care Plan Oversight (CPO) report to bill for their time.
